Taught only by corporate advisors in the investment banking industry, meant that businesses would need to be willing to invest over $50,000 in order to gain access to this sort of information. Bringing these same corporate advisors, entrepreneurs, lawyers and accountants together to present in a workshop type environment has meant that over 6,000 businesses have now had the privilege of learning specific strategies which were once inaccessible to them.
At MBE we don’t have “speakers”, we have experts from different fields who are brought in specifically to present you with their idea’s, systems and strategies. SIIMON REYNOLDS - PHOTON GROUP In 2000 Siimon co-founded the Photon Group, it was listed on the ASX in 2004 and today consists of 48 companies, over 5,500 staff and has office in 15 countries. The market capitalisation of the group is around $300m. Siimon is a previous BRW Young Rich List Member.
SIMON BAKER - realestate.com.au Simon took realestate.com.au from an $8m turnover to over $700m in just 7 years. Known as one of the most successful CEO's in Australian history, Simon is also a former BRW Young Rich List Member.
DOMENIC CAROSA - DOMINET Dominic Carosa listed his company, Destra, on the stock exchange in 2000, making him the youngest public company CEO in Australian history, a title he still holds today. At its peak Destra was capitalised at over $120m and today has annual earnings in excess of $100m. Domenic is a previous BRW Young Rich List Member.
PETER NICHOLAS Peter Nicholas is the founder of Cat Media which has quickly become the fastest growing health and beauty company with a turnover of over $45m. Peter's company has been listed in the BRW Fast 100 List two years in a row and Peter is a former BRW Young Rich List Member.
PATRICK WINTER - ERNST & YOUNG Patrick is the Managing Partner – Australia of Ernst & Young’s Strategic Growth Markets division. Patrick has over 20 years Corporate Finance experience in Australia and the UK focused on Mergers and Acquisitions, Valuations and Financial Due Diligence for all forms of transactions.
MARTIN RYAN - AUSTRALIA PACIFIC EXCHANGE In 1991 Martin founded Austock Group, a member of the Australian Stock Exchange. Martin is an Executive Director of the Austock Group and Managing Director of APX.
ROD YOUNG - DC STRATEGY Rod Young is the founder of DC Strategy, he is considered the world's leading franchise and systemisation consultant. Rod's clients include Telstra, ANZ, Commonwealth Bank, Boost Juice and Fernwood Fitness Centres.
TOM McKASKILL - Swinburne University Acknowledged as the world’s leading authority on exit strategies for high growth enterprises, Dr McKaskill has bought and sold several companies both nationally and internationally. An experienced entrepreneur and recognised educator, Dr McKaskill played a large part in developing the Australian Graduate School of Entrepreneurship at Swinburne University of Technology.
